Kobelco Eco-Solutions establishes Phnom Penh Office in Kingdom
of Cambodia

Kobelco Eco-Solutions Co., Ltd. has established its Phnom Penh Office, in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

1. Background for establishment

Along with the stable economic growth, Cambodia is expected to grow as an emerging manufacturing base following Thailand and Vietnam. A lot of infrastructure projects are currently planned in Cambodia, which draws in foreign investments. Kobelco Eco-Solutions expects to expand its business opportunities in the area of water purification and sewage treatment plant, and industrial waste water treatment plant. Kobelco Eco-Solutions already established its wholly-owned subsidiary in Vietnam, “KOBELCO ECO-SOLUTIONS VIETNAM CO., LTD.”, in November, 2010. Opening the representative office in Cambodia will stretch our business further, enhancing our capacity for cooperating with local entities and gathering information in Asia.

2. Purposes for establishment

(I) To collect information for sales and marketing, and local partners in Cambodia.
(II) To collect information for international procurement.
