Collection of Valuable Metal from Wastewater

- Iron particles are input into wastewater containing valuable metal, which has been difficult to be separated and collected, for deposition reduction of metal by ionization trend differences.

- Zinc or aluminum may be used instead of iron to collect those with small standard reduction potential (high ionization trend thereby).

Mechanism

- Metal deposition technology using displacement reaction caused by difference in metal ionization trends.

- Iron particles are input into wastewater for deposition reduction of target metal to the surface of the particles by difference in ionization trends.

- The deposited metal is peeled off and collected by changing the magnetic field direction by an electric magnet and mixing and crashing the iron particles, or by using ultrasonic wave.
