Wood biomass power generation is a carbon-neutral power generation method that helps to reduce CO2 emissions and curb global warming. In Japan, a lot of thinned wood is left in place after being cut. The buildup of thinned wood thus abandoned has become an issue in forest management.
Because it utilizes such wood materials as fuel, biomass power generation contributes to the development and maintenance of forests as a whole.
Our wood biomass power generation boilers incorporate a wealth of technologies accumulated over many years of handling waste treatment facilities. The resulting features of these boilers are as described below.
In 2016, we constructed Fukui Green Power Plant, a wood biomass power plant (7.34MW), with a full turnkey contract.
To date, we have maintained the stable operation of this plant.
