Investment Project of KOBELCO
We established a joint venture company to operate the Vietnam’s Long Duc Industrial Park together with the other Japanese and local entities. Since the environmental regulations in Vietnam are rather strict compared to the other ASEAN countries, our knowledge and experience is highly valued to maintain the eco-friendly IP.
Centralized Wastewater Treatment Facility in Long Duc IP 9,000m3/day (Phase-1)
Advantage
The aforementioned JV company awarded the contract to 100% our subsidiary Kobelco Eco-solutions Vietnam (KESV) for construction and O&M of the centralized wastewater treatment facility in the Long Duc IP (Left).
Besides, KESV has also supplied wastewater treatment plants for each tenant in the Long Duc IP.
We launched the 1st investment project by a Japanese private entity in Cambodia to supply safe and purified water for local citizens. We will expand the purified water supply business to all over the country in order to meet the rapidly growing demand for tap water.
